Buddy’s Story

Buddy Bark Park was inspired by the memory of Buddy, a beloved pup who passed unexpectedly at just 2 years old due to lactic acidosis. His loss sparked a mission: to create a place where pet owners support one another through fun, connection, and care — especially in the hardest times.

Founder Michael Paul, also known as The Puppy Professor, created this platform with the support of his wife Shonna Dossey, his father Shae Schubert, and his sister Thorne Schubert. Their belief in this vision made everything possible.
